Technical Center at Daewoo Motor Company in Korea

After 3 months of joing Daewoo Motors India Ltd. I was sent to the Technical Centre located in the Pupyong plant of Daewoo Motor Korea. We were a team of 8 engineers from India and spent 17 months there in an on-the-job training programme. Each engineer was trained is a specific area of automobile design. I was chosen for Body Design. Below is the facility where we were trained. The dormitory where we lived was also close to the factory. I gained invaluable experience from the time I spent there.
