IIT Madras

In IIT Joint Entrtrance Exam of 1993 I got a rank of 1095. With that rank the only branches available at any of the 5 IITs at that time were Metallury, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering and Naval Architecture. For me the choice was very simple, I loved to watch aircraft since I was 5 years old so now that a chance was available I thought of studying how they are designed and manufactured. My father was of the opinion that I should study civil engineering. I was adamant about pursuing what I thought would be interesting for me. Finally with the intervention of my mother I got my way and I joined the Aerospace Engineering branch of IIT Madras.

These are some photos from my stay there and these are some of the locations -
